Dear Abita Springs Middle School Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Abita Springs Middle School! We are thrilled to begin the 2026–2027 school year and look forward to partnering with you to create a year filled with growth, leadership, achievement, and memorable experiences for every student.

I am especially honored and excited to serve as the new principal of Abita Springs Middle School. Having been a part of this incredible school community for the past eight years as assistant principal, I have had the privilege of building strong relationships with our students, staff, and families. This school holds a special place in my heart, and I am truly excited to continue our work together in this new role.

At ASMS, we believe every child has unique talents and the potential to make a positive impact on our school and community. This year, we are proud to introduce our school theme:
Level Up Leaders!

This theme reminds us that leadership is a journey. Just like advancing to the next level in a game, every day provides an opportunity for students to grow stronger academically, socially, and personally. We will encourage our students to challenge themselves, persevere through obstacles, make responsible choices, and develop the confidence needed to become leaders both in and out of the classroom.
