This was designed and put together by the SWE Chair Ms. Ritchie.

The PTA has helped tremendously in fulfilling this need. Richard Anderson's (husband to Kristy with PTA) company donated $500. We also had donations from Elizabeth Johns, Sandra Akhtar, Rebecca Cambre, Alisa Hernandez, and other community members.

One of the events was a Tic Tac Toe relay where students competed in a race while playing a game of tic tac toe with bean bags and hula hoops.

2 students competing in the Rock Paper Scissors event during the Abita Middle School Field Day. Students had to hop from hula hoop to hula hoop and when they meet had to play a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors.

Students quickly found their friends to catch up and find out if they were in the same classes on the morning of the first day.

The PTA hosted the Grandparents and Special Guests Days by providing breakfast and playing Bingo. Each day ended with a blackout game of bingo.

Mrs. Kraus's 4th Grade Science class created mini flashlights out of LEDs, button batteries, and aluminum foil so that the students would learn about circuits and energy.
